InLine, LLC is hiring experienced Journeyman and Master Electricians for the Mobile River Bridge and Bay Way Bridge Construction Project—one of the most significant infrastructure projects in Alabama's history. Position Overview

You'll help deliver safe, efficient, and modern electrical solutions for major DOT-led infrastructure. Your work will directly support lighting, signaling, fiber-optic systems, and traffic-management networks that power smarter, safer roads.

Key Responsibilities

• Electrical installations: Install and service conduit, fiber, lighting, surge protection, grounding, and related electrical systems across bridge and highway segments.
• Team leadership: Guide apprentices and laborers while maintaining quality workmanship and strict safety standards.
• System maintenance: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair ITS and roadway systems.
• Documentation and communication: Maintain accurate logs and collaborate with project managers, DOT inspectors, and team members.

Qualifications

• Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license or card; Journeyman credential required and Master credential preferred.
• Four or more years of electrical fieldwork, ideally in infrastructure or heavy-highway construction.
• IMSA Level II Traffic Signal Technician or similar DOT-related certification preferred.
• Associate degree or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Valid driver's license required; CDL Class A or B preferred, or willingness to obtain one.
• Able to lift 50–100 pounds and work outdoors in varying site conditions.

Underground Utilities Construction Foreman

InLine is seeking an experienced and driven Underground Utilities Construction Foreman to lead field crews installing Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), traffic signals, underground conduit systems, fiber optics, and roadway and bridge lighting. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and work alongside crews installing underground conduit for electrical and fiber-optic networks.
• Install pole structures and ITS devices, including WWDS, DMS, CCTV, and RVD systems.
• Support traffic-signal construction, including foundations, poles, cabinets, signal heads, and wiring.
• Install roadway and bridge lighting systems.
• Read and interpret construction plans, electrical diagrams, and specifications.
• Coordinate trenching, conduit placement, cable pulling, and pole installation.
• Maintain compliance with trench-safety requirements and MUTCD traffic-control standards.
• Communicate with project managers, inspectors, and subcontractors to keep work on schedule.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading crews in underground utility construction.
• Experience with ITS, traffic signals, or roadway lighting is a strong plus but is not required.
• Ability to read and execute construction plans and specifications.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience operating excavators, trenchers, skid steers, augers, or similar equipment.
• Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred.
• OSHA certification or willingness to obtain it through provided training.

Schedule & Expectations

• Full-time, in-person position based in Theodore, Alabama.
• Potential overtime, occasional weekend and night shifts, and travel as required.
• Travel is typically limited to one-week intervals, with crews home on weekends.
• Outdoor work in varying conditions on active construction sites.

This position performs general construction and underground utility work supporting Intelligent Transportation Systems, communications networks, traffic signals, roadway lighting, and other infrastructure operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Install HDPE duct, conduit, pull boxes, and fiber-optic cable.
• Perform excavation, trenching, backfilling, and other construction tasks using hand and power tools.
• Assist crews working with directional drills, excavators, forklifts, dump trucks, and related equipment.
• Load, unload, organize, transport, and secure project materials and equipment.
• Set up, maintain, and remove Maintenance of Traffic measures according to project and Department of Transportation requirements.
• Support installation and maintenance of ITS devices, traffic signals, roadway lighting, communications infrastructure, and related systems.
• Maintain safe jobsites for employees, motorists, pedestrians, and the public.
• Respond to storms, emergencies, and infrastructure-restoration assignments when required.
